وفور علمها بالخبر، حضرت السلطات المحلية، ومصالح الدرك الملكي الى عين المكان، حيث عاينت جثث الضحايا وفتحت تحقيقا في الموضوع لتحديج ملابسات الواقعة وظروفها.
وجرى نقل جثث الضحايا الى قسم مستودع الأموات بالمستشفى الجهوي الفارابي بوجدة، في انتظار اجراء عملية الدفن.
