انتقلت إلى عفو الله، اليوم الأحد، الناشطة الحقوقية والمدافعة عن حقوق المرأة عائشة الشنا، وذلك عن عمر يناهز الـ 82 سنة بمستشفى الشيخ زايد بالدار البيضاء.
وكانت الشنا قد أدخلت المستشفى قبل يومين إثر مضاعفات صحية على مستوى الجهاز التنفسي، حيث خضعت للعلاجات الضرورية، الا أنها أسلمت الروح الى باريها.
وتعتبر عائشة الشنا، المزدادة في 14 غشت 1941 بالدار البيضاء، ناشطة اجتماعية مغربية ومدافعة عن حقوق المرأة، عملت كممرضة مسجلة وبدأت العمل بصفتها موظفة في وزراة الصحة بالمغرب مع النساء اللاتى تنقصهن الرعاية.
وفي عام 1985، أسست جمعية التضامن النسوى، وهي مؤسسة خيرية تقع في الدار البيضاء تهدف لمساعدة النساء العازبات وضحايا الاغتصاب، حيث حازت على عدة جوائز إنسانية مقابل عملها منها جائزة أوبيس عام 2009 والتى بلغت قيمتها مليون دولار.
