دعت الوكالة الوطنية للسلامة الطرقية كافة مستعملي الطريق إلى ضرورة مضاعفة الحيطة والحذر، وذلك بمناسبة حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك برسم السنة الهجرية 1444.
كما حثت الوكالة، في بلاغ لها اليوم الثلاثاء، مستعملي الطريق لاتخاذ كل الاحتياطات والتدابير اللازمة لتوفير شروط الوقاية والسلامة الطرقية خلال هذه الفترة التي ستعرف حركية مكثفة للنقل والجولان بمختلف محاور شبكة الطرق الوطنية.
ونظرا للإقبال المتزايد على وسائل النقل العمومي للمسافرين بين المدن باعتباره خدمة عمومية مهمة في تنقل المواطنين، يضيف البلاغ، تحث الوكالة كافة الركاب إلى التقيد بوضع حزام السلامة حفاظا على سلامتهم واحترام كافة شروط ومستلزمات السلامة الطرقية طيلة الرحلة.
كما تدعو سائقي مختلف أصناف المركبات، وعلى وجه الخصوص سائقي السيارات الخاصة والسائقين المهنيين لسيارات الأجرة وحافلات النقل العمومي للمسافرين وشاحنات البضائع من موقع المسؤولية الملقاة على عاتقهم إلى احترام قانون السير ومستلزمات الوقاية والسلامة الطرقية كما يجب عليهم الالتزام باحترام قانون السير والتحلي بالتسامح مع باقي فئات مستعملي الطريق.
وشددت على ضرورة إخضاع العربات للصيانة الميكانيكية والفحص التقني الدقيق لأجهزة السلامة والتأكد من صلاحيتها وخلوها من كل الأعطاب والشوائب التقنية التي من شأنها التسبب في وقوع حوادث السير خاصة سلامة العجلات وأجهزة الإنارة والحصر والنوابض وماسحات الزجاج وغيرها.
وأضافت أنه يتعين أيضا أخذ قسط وافر من الراحة بالنسبة للسائق حتى يتمكن من القيادة بشكل آمن وسليم لأن الإرهاق والتعب يتسببان في فقدان التركيز وضعف القدرة الإدراكية مما يؤثر سلبا على تقييم المسافات والسرعة ويصاحب ذلك اضطراب أثناء القيام بالمناورات أثناء السياقة وبالتالي البطء في اتخاذ القرار المناسب.
كما أبرزت الوكالة أهمية الاستعداد للسفر، إذا اقتضت الضرورة ذلك، بالتحديد المسبق لمسار التنقل من أجل تفادي المفاجآت غير السارة والأخطار المحتملة؛ و تنظيم الأمتعة والبضائع وربطها بإحكام وعدم تحميل العربة أكثر من الحمولة المسموح بها، خاصة بالنسبة لسائقي نقل البضائع ووسائل النقل العمومي للمسافرين لأن ذلك يشكل خطرا على سلامة باقي مستعملي الطريق.
وأثناء السير، يضيف المصدر ذاته ، يتعين التخفيض من السرعة والحرص على ملاءمتها مع الظروف البيئية للطريق مع الالتزام التام بقواعد السير والمرور وضوابطه خصوصا على مستوى المنعرجات والمنحدرات والطرق الوعرة والملتوية؛ وضرورة احترام مسافة الأمان القانونية بين العربات داخل المجال الحضري وخارجه، وعلى وجه الخصوص في الطرق الوطنية والطرق السيارة؛
وفي السياق ذاته، تدعو الوكالة الى جلوس الأطفال الذين تقل أعمارهم عن عشر سنوات في المقاعد الخلفية مع وجوب استعمال أحزمة السلامة سواء بالنسبة لراكبي المقاعد الأمامية أو الخلفية بالإضافة إلى راكبي حافلات النقل العمومي للمسافرين؛ علاوة على تجنب السير على شكل قافلة متلاصقة واحترام القواعد الخاصة بالتجاوز أو الوقوف والتوقف مع تفادي المناورات المفاجئة.
